For Parents

At Ernest Bevin we work in partnership with Parents and families to ensure every young person is supported through their Secondary and Sixth Form education. There are a number of resources on the college website to help support parents and keep them informed. For example

Doddle Learn: Online homework - parental log ins and sent home in the first few weeks of the new academic year.

My Ed app- App for your smart phone with general information about the college and details unique to your child

Accelerated Reader - Reading scheme to help improve literacy.

We also invite parents in to the college throughout the year.

Parent Forum - Informal Coffee morning where parents can hear more about college life

Parent's Evenings - minimum of once a year meeting with subject teachers

Year 7 Induction Evenings - to introduce new Year 7 parents to the college.

We also occasionally are able to offer training for parents. Recent courses have included European Computing Licence & ESOL. Click on the links below for more information.
