Awards & Partnerships

Ernest Bevin Academy receives recognition for the work it does as a school from a number of different external agencies, working in partnership with organisations to improve the provision of education the school can offer students.

 

The school is a member of the Wandle Teaching School Alliance, a collaborative learning alliance made up of 37 educational institutions based mostly in the London borough of Wandsworth.

In 2022, Wandsworth Borough Council carried out their annual Health & Safety Inspection of Ernest Bevin Academy. The Inspection found the school was achieving between full compliance in 91-100% of the categories. This puts Ernest Bevin Academy in the highest category ‘Very good’ and 2-3 categories above the majority of schools.

 

 

The charity Greenhouse Sports works with the school by providing specialist Table Tennis coaches. Table Tennis practice takes place every day, with students achieving fantastic results in regional and national competitions.

In partnership with Twenty20 Community Cricket, Ernest Bevin Academy runs a Sixth Form Cricket Academy. Students can undergo cricket training after school and receive assistance in learning how to become cricket coaches themselves. It is possible to combine both cricket and post-16 studies.

 

 

 

Ernest Bevin Academy was awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) in October 2021. The LPPA is a nationally recognised award given to schools who deliver effective parental engagement we are proud to have been awarded this;
