In 2018 Ernest Bevin College reported another strong set of exam results. At GCSE 47% achieved grade 5 or higher in English and Maths (the comparative measure for the newly reformed GCSEs). There was a big increase in the number of students achieving the higher grades 7, 8 or 9 in the newly reformed GCSEs.

Students at Ernest Bevin College are celebrating a strong set of GCSE results and in particular a big increase in the number of students achieving the higher grades, 7, 8 or 9 in the newly reformed examinations. In Computer Science 82% of the students achieved grade 7 or higher, 60% in Product Design, and 63% in Physics.

Overall the results were strong with 47% of the pupils achieving grade 5 or higher in English and Maths, which the college anticipates will be above the national figure for all boys nationally.
