Squad members were presented with the National Schools' Judo trophy at a joint training session with judoka from the Petchey Academy. Wandsworth win LYG 2013

12 Jul 2013 - 10:00AM A number of EBC students helped Wandsworth win the London Youth Games title. The boys' judo and volleyball teams both took gold medals and the table tennis team took a bronze medal adding to Wandsworth's haul of 7 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals. The judo team took gold for the 4th year in a row and the volleyballers took top place again after just missing out last year.… read more

British 10K London Run

11 Jul 2013 - 01:38PM Mr Lane and 3 Purple ties are running the British 10K London Run on Sunday 14th July. They will be running for Wandsworth Age UK a local charity that is celebrating 50 years of helping older people in our community. Mindfull Launch

05 Jul 2013 - 01:47PM EBC students joined Ed Milliband and other high profile politicians and campaigners at the launch of MindFull at Bafta on Friday 5th July. The boys are amongst the first Mentors to be trained by MindFull, a new service for 11-17 year olds to provide support, information and advice about mental health and emotional wellbeing. They demonstrated the website to guests and explained about the training they have received.… read more

Cycle Week 2013

04 Jul 2013 - 11:26AM Boys in Years 7&8 are being encouraged to cycle to school on 8-12th July and take part in the Cycle Challenge. Boys who cycle to school will be awarded points and the tutor group with the most points at the end of the week will win a prize. There will also be bike maintenance sessions during the lunch hour and after school and the chance to take the bike speed test during PE lessons.… read more

International Volleyball Match

01 Jul 2013 - 10:26AM Come and watch the future stars of English volleyball take on their Canadian counterparts on Sunday 7th July. The Junior (U19) match will take place in Ernest Bevin College's sports hall and spectators are welcome to watch the match which starts at 2pm.
