SOAS competition

20 Nov 2015 - 12:59PM A team from the MFL department at EBC was invited to SOAS University (School of Oriental and African Studies) to take part in a UN-styled debate centred around the issue of global warming, against representatives from other schools. Remembrance Day

11 Nov 2015 - 12:48PM Two minutes silence was observed to remember all those that have died in conflict. Two Year 10 students have been sharing their experiences on a trip to the World War I battlefields. They researched the life of the soldier Leonard Ernest Bevin who came from Tooting and is buried at Tyne Cot cemetry in the Ypres Salient. … read more

Anti Bullying Week 2015

03 Nov 2015 - 11:04AM Students are being invited to take part in Actionwork's Anti Bullying Week 2015 competition. This year's theme is Let's Make a Noise about Bullying and we are asking boys to write a piece of prose, a poem or rap about this theme. There will be a whole school prize and the best entries will be submitted to the National competition. We will also be running assemblies to remind all students about the college's Anti Bullying policy.… read more
