South London Cricket Champs!

24 Feb 2016 - 11:54AM Well done to the Year 10 cricket team who smashed their way to victory at the Oval on 22nd February in the South London Indoor Cricket competition. They won all four of their group matches before winning the final by bowling Kingsdale for just 9 runs. Charity Day

12 Feb 2016 - 12:03PM A group of Red Ties organised a non-Uniform day for Friday before half term in order to raise money for a charity called Fare Share which aims to fight hunger and tackle food waste. They have been discussing issues related to Homelessness in Citizenship lessons and chose to raise money for this charity. They have also held a Q&A session with the manager of the Streatham Shelter shop.… read more

National Finals for Table Tennis stars

10 Feb 2016 - 11:42AM Two Table Tennis players have secured their place in the National finals by winning Gold medals in the Jack Petchey Central London Schools individual championships. At just 13, Joel Attah won the U16 title after beating team mates in both the quarter and semi finals. 17-year-old Kudjo Kpordje won the Under 19 title by beating an ex-Bevin player. Table Tennis Success

02 Feb 2016 - 03:39PM The Under 13 Table Tennis team had a very successful weekend in the Jack Petchey ESTTA championships. In the individual event Adam came 3rd overall and has earned himself a place in the National finals. In the team event they came runners up, so that they qualified for the regional championships in March. Well done!… read more

Visit to No 10

01 Feb 2016 - 12:37PM Sixth Form student Talha Ahmed had a amazing opportunity, not only to visit No 10 Downing Street and to meet the Prime Minister, but also to put question to some of the Anti Apartheid heroes who were imprisoned with Nelson Mandela in South Africa.
