Surrey Cricket Champions

22 Apr 2016 - 01:52PM Well done to the Year 10 Indoor Cricket Team who won the Surrey Indoor Cricket Championships on Wednesday 20th April to become County Champions. They faced five other schools who like the Bevin team, had won their local competition to secure a place in the final. On the day the Bevin cricketers were unbeaten, winning both their group matches, the semi- final and the final against Tiffins which they won by 5 runs in the last over.… read more

Volleyball Nationals

16 Mar 2016 - 01:38PM All three of our Volleyball teams have qualified for the National Finals in their age groups. The U16s will go head to head with the current champions on 2nd/3rd April and the U18s will compete in the Grand Prix final the same weekend. South London Cricket Champs!

They won all four of their group matches before winning the final by bowling Kingsdale for just 9 runs. Charity Day

12 Feb 2016 - 12:03PM A group of Red Ties organised a non-Uniform day for Friday before half term in order to raise money for a charity called Fare Share which aims to fight hunger and tackle food waste. They have been discussing issues related to Homelessness in Citizenship lessons and chose to raise money for this charity. They have also held a Q&A session with the manager of the Streatham Shelter shop.… read more
